I do not know about you, but I see the magic everywhere! One definition of magic is from or reliance on the supernatural. “Another reason is,” have specific characteristics to produce the inexplicable or startling effects. If something “super” natural, then it seems natural, right? Now, what is natural?
If something is explicable on the * seems * is like magic. I wake in the morning (no, not the magic part!) And when I turn on the lights or music, I have no idea how to bring to light particular mechanisms or work in the music room. Of course I understand can explain the basics, but really, electricity, light and sound? Not how it works, but why?
Now I know some of you are engineers, and can explain these phenomena may be easier for me. However, as things become more complex, the magic still seems surprising. What is to be sent to the computer an e-mail to a friend or you can watch hundreds of songs in a device, keep the smaller than a wallet? Or you can use the blood from my body, or connect me with a machine and say take me all sorts of things about what happens in me. Even in my car is incredible.
I could go on and on with what science has our world in terms of health, gadgets and household and work. And some time ago, all those things would have been “magic”. They were “super-natural” and grow it, and how we learn more and more things, like “Magic” part of everyday life sound.
For those of you B.i. have lived (Before iPod), do you remember audio cassettes, or even (gasp!) 8-track tapes? Science developed, which can so quickly and what we do not think that it is possible today, we have exceeded in some years.
And we enjoy a lot of them, without really understanding how they work, or have why, but just trust and believe they work and they will do what we want.
As Latinas, we women tend to be more open to the fluidity of the supernatural and how it affects our daily lives. Many of you read and learn more about your sign to say prayers, light your ancestors, or a candle, if someone is sick. And say how many of us believe, prayer has shown us, it will be useful, we pray (and the science he does so). So, we are open to the magic in our life of faith, but what about the little “magic” in the world?
So today, to look around. Enjoy the magic of everyday life. Be for what science has to put your life so far and appreciate the confidence, there will be many more to follow!
